“On the Road to Vancouver” – Farnham Glacier in the Canadian Rockies is home to Camp Green – a summer training facility for the Canadian Alpine Ski and Snowboarding Team. This camp gives athletes a competitive edge since they can’t get this summer training anywhere else. Farnham Glacier is a bleak and desolate place, but the elite athletes who train there are housed in a warm and comfortable Weatherhaven camp, which is owned and operated by the Calgary Olympic Development Association (CODA). This camp sleeps and feeds up to 70 persons and has all of the amenities that these athletes need to give a top performance at the upcoming Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
