Weatherhaven shelters have been erected in Chile, Panama and El Salvador to support the ongoing COVID-19 initiative.
In late March 2020, Chile awarded a contract to Weatherhaven for five, 100-bed turnkey field hospitals. These field
hospitals include many features such as 10-bed medical and ICU wards, staff offices, central corridors, patient and
staff ablutions, fresh water and sewage treatment plants, power generation facilities, and basic medical furniture
among other equipment.
Furthermore, 16-bed hospitals will be delivered to both Panama and El Salvador in the next couple of weeks,
consisting of hospital beds and air filtration systems. There are currently over 100,000 active cases of COVID-19 in
the regions of Chile, Panama and El Salvador.
