Weatherhaven is pleased to apply its portable medical shelter experience in support of the Government of Canada’s recently announced Mobile Health Unit (MHU) initiative.

This program will involve designing, developing, storing, transporting and deploying a number of portable COVID-19 response field hospitals for rapid deployment to those in need. These units can be deployed within a few days in a number of different scenarios to urban, rural and arctic environments, and in support of Provincial and Indigenous governments when necessary.

Weatherhaven has partnered with another Canadian company, the ATCO Group in its solution to provide MHUs and support camps for medical staff, as well as infrastructure support services.
